Professor C. Panduranga Bhatta has earned all his degrees from two Indian Universities namely Mysore University and Madras University. He has three and half decades of teaching and research experience in postgraduate and doctoral level. He has published four books and more than eighty journal papers besides supervising 11 M. Phil and 7 Ph.D scholars. He is well versed in sahitya, alamkara, Indology, Business Ethics and Human Values. He is the founder Coordinator of Business Ethics and Communication Group at the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta besides being the Coordinator of Management Centre for Human Values and the Editor of the Journal of Human Values published by SAGE Publications simultaneously from Los Angeles, London, New Delhi, Singapore and Washington DC during 2006-2014. He has secured Gold Medals, Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund Award (twice) for the distinctions achieved in academics. He has also been honoured with Dewang Mehta Award in 2010 for Best Teacher in Business Ethics and Communication and a gold medal by the Association of Indian Management Schools for securing the prestigious "AIMS-ICFAI Best Teacher Award-2011". Presently he is working as a visiting Professor in Silpakorn University, Bangkok deputed by ICCR, New Delhi.
